The strength of Kansas this season has been playing at Allen Fieldhouse. While they might technically be away from home this week, Jayhawk fans will surely pack the nearby Sprint Center to its capacity. Any kind of win for Kansas and Rock Chalk will be sung in full force.
One of the potential sleepers heading into Kansas City is TCU. When Mike Miles has been healthy, the Horned Frogs have proven to be one of the best teams in the country at times. They will enter as the No. 6 seed and face off against Kansas State in the quarterfinals. Head coach Jamie Dixon could add to what has already been a quality season in Fort Worth.
As for the bottom of the odds, Texas Tech will be coaching without Mark Adams. He was indefinitely suspended by athletic director Kirby Holcutt after comments made to players recently. There was a slight NCAA Tournament push from the Red Raiders at the end of the season. However, they will likely need to win in order to continue a postseason run.
