That included 51 games set from August 28th through September 13th, both in the non-conference and some in conference play, around the Big Ten.

“Kickoff times and television designations not announced today will be determined and distributed according to the 12-/6-day in-season selection process,” the league noted in the release.

With this season, the Big Ten will again look to have multiple teams competing for titles, starting off with these games. That’s after last season where, following the expansion of the league as well as the playoff, the conference saw four teams make the College Football Playoff, including the No. 1 overall seed in Oregon as well as the eventual champion in Ohio State as the Big Ten has had consecutive national championship winners with Michigan as well.

There’s much anticipation again for this next football season in the Big Ten. We now, with 13 weeks until kickoff, know how it’ll start off in the league with the announced schedule here from the conference this morning.
