The Big Ten basketball tournament has a clearer picture after Tuesday’s slate of basketball games. The latest projected seeds, schedule and magic numbers are available as teams fight for positioning in the conference tournament.

Purdue has a 96% chance to grab the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten. Only Maryland and Michigan have a 2% chance to grab the No. 1 spot, but do not control their destiny.

Only Purdue controls its own destiny for the top seed in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers’ magic number to clinch the top spot is down to one.

As far as the bottom five teams in the conference, their highest probability of finish dwindled. Minnesota can finish as high as No. 13. Ohio State has a 99% chance to finish No. 13 while Nebraska can finish as high as No. 10 and Penn State and Wisconsin can finish as high as No. 9.
