EA Sports College Football 25

Nearing the halfway point of the college football season, EA Sports College Football 25 has made its first major player ratings update.

The game returned this summer for the first time in more than a decade. Electronic Arts announced at last month’s Investor Day that EA Sports College Football 25’s release has been “above expectations.” EA the video game has seen 6.5 million unique players to date.

For the first time in the game’s history, athletes are being compensated for having their name, image and likeness. That also means on-field performances are being factored in to the player ratings update for the first time.

Colorado’s star defensive back and wide receiver Travis Hunter is up to a 97 overall rating in EA Sports College Football 25. A Heisman Trophy frontrunner, averaging nine catches and 112 yards per game with six touchdowns. Hunter has also posted 16 tackles, two interceptions and a game-winning forced fumble against Baylor.
