Blue blood program gets 5-star Mikey Williams first official visit
Mikey Williams is a celebrity who has surpassed most of his high school peers and has become someone who moves the needle. Williams signed a multi-year footwear and apparel endorsement deal with Puma in November. This deal made him the first American high school basketball player to sign a sneaker deal with a global footwear company.
247Sports Eric Bossi recently interviewed Mikey Williams’ dad, Marlon Williams, where he stated that Mikey was “all in on college.”
The focus immediately returned to schools for the San Diego (CA) San Ysidro High guard. Two years ago, On3’s Joe Tipton released top-ten schools for Williams; Alabama State, Arizona State, Kansas, Memphis, Hampton, San Diego State, Tennessee State, North Carolina Central, Southern Cal, and Texas Southern.
Since stating he would be attending college, Williams has not come out with updated top schools. He has taken one unofficial visit in February to Southern Cal.

The first official visit goes to…
Sources tell On3 that Mikey Williams is set to take his first official visit to Kansas. The defending national champions will host the five-star guard on Monday, June 27.
Kansas made the initial top ten, and before his Puma deal, Mikey played strictly for Adidas programs. It is not a surprise Kansas is the school that gets Williams on campus first.
Williams On3 NIL Valuation
Mikey Williams’s $2,600,000 On3 NIL Valuation ranks him fourth in the On3 NIL 100 and second overall in high school basketball. With Williams’ 5.9 million followers across social media platforms, On3 projects he could get $39,000 per post.
