Las Vegas, Nevada – On3 has made its way out west for the Border League and there’s no shortage of talent. 25+ ranked players touched the court throughout the evening at Bishop Gorman High School, located just 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip. It goes without being said, being in that gym was the place to be on Friday night.

Here are your standouts.

Game 1: Vyctorius Miller, Zayden High

To start off the evening, AZ Compass overwhelmed Christopher Columbus (FL) defensively, forcing turnovers, and not giving them an inch.

Vyctorius Miller and Zayden High led the way for AZ Compass. Miller was aggressive offensively, creating his own shot, and crashing the boards for putbacks. I was also impressed with his passing ability. The 6-5 guard finished with 13 points on six-of-nine from the field.

Zayden High played a strong game inside, getting whatever he wanted. He played physical and tough the entire night. The outside shot wasn’t falling but he took it confidently. High will announce his college decision (North Carolina, Villanova, Texas, Michigan) on Sunday. He also finished with 13 points.

Jordan Ross was excellent acting as the primary ball handler and scored in a variety of ways.

Pharaoh Compton dunks everything. Mookie Cook locked up defensively and didn’t make a single shot easy.

Cameron Boozer finished with 16 points for his Christopher Columbus squad, despite the loss.

Game 2: Chris Johnson

In game two, Chris Johnson of Montverde Academy came away with the easy win of Coronado. The Kansas signee was terrific offensively and showed a new-and-improved shot. The 6-4 guard did not miss a shot until the final two minutes of regulation, and totaled 23 points by the time the buzzer sounded. His passing ability to find his teammates is also superb, as he finished with five assists.

Duke commit Sean Stewart also played a good game, walking away with an easy double (10 points, 14 rebounds). Cooper Flagg, the top 2025 prospect, flew around the court and was always active. Defensively, he was outstanding. He finished with 11 points. Derik Queen was also very good, finishing with 12 points.

On the other side of the ball, Sebastian Mack did everything he could to keep his Coronado team in the game. He was a menace to the Montverde Academy defense and got to the rim with ease, finishing nearly all of his free throws. While he wasn’t very efficient, the 6-4 guard finished with 23 points.

Game 3: Jared McCain

In the second to last game, Duke commit Jared McCain fueled his Corona Centenial team to a win over Donda Academy. The 6-3 guard led his team with composure and resistance. His confidence never waivered, even when his outside shot wasn’t falling. McCain is a team player and a fun one to watch. He finished with a game-high 23 points, not to mention 12 rebounds.

UCLA commit Devin Williams was consistently being hacked down low, but the upside continues to ooze. He finished with just eight points, but grabbed 10 boards, and four blocks.

Game 4: Bronny James

Boy, oh, boy. Bronny James. The son of NBA star LeBron James started off slow, but absolutely caught fire in the second half, putting on a clinic. He flipped a switch and went off, particularly from three-point land. James shot an impressive six-of-seven from deep, and totaled 31 points, not to mention five assists and four steals. He played with confidence and found his teammates well.

Ashton Hardaway shot the ball very well tonight, even pulling up in transition. He was also money off the catch and shoot. The son of Penny Hardaway finished with an impressive 21 points.
