Bracket, schedule announced for 2022 ACC Baseball Tournament
As the college baseball season comes to a close and the postseason kicks off, the bracket and schedule for the ACC Tournament is now set in stone. Ahead of the first round on Tuesday, the conference has laid out the path to the championship game and an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
While the ACC promises to be very well-represented this year, there are still bubble teams or programs in a down year who can flip the script with one long win streak over the next week to serve as bracket busters.
Duke enters the week as defending champions, winning in 2021 after the 2020 tournament was cancelled in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The win was the first in school history and the first for head coach Chris Pollard, pulling off one of the most improbable runs against the higher-ranked teams.
