As the college baseball season comes to a close and the postseason kicks off, the bracket and schedule for the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament is now set in stone. Ahead of the first round on Wednesday, the conference has laid out the path to the championship game and an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

While the Pac-12 already has multiple teams locked in as at-large teams, there are still plenty bubble teams or programs in a down year who can flip the script with one long win streak over the next week to serve as bracket busters.

2022 is the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament for baseball, ushering in a new era for the conference. Arizona comes in as the final champion from the old format, with Stanford entering the tournament as the No. 1 seed this year. All games will be played at Scottsdale Stadium, the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants, in Arizona as part of the agreement to start a double-elimination event.

The full slate of up to 14 games leading into Sunday’s conference championship game will only feature the top eight teams from the Pac-12. Each division will hold four teams which will play in the standard double elimination format made popular in the NCAA Tournament.

The conference championship will air on ESPN2, wrapping up the day after multiple Power Five games.
