Bracket, schedule announced for 2022 SEC Baseball Tournament
As the college baseball season comes to a close and the postseason kicks off, the bracket and schedule for the SEC Tournament is now set in stone. Ahead of the first round on Tuesday, the conference has laid out the path to the championship game and an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
While the SEC promises to be one of the most well-represented conferences this year, there are still plenty bubble teams or programs in a down year who can flip the script with one long win streak over the next week to serve as bracket busters.

Arkansas enters the week as defending champions, winning in 2021 after the 2020 tournament was cancelled in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The last repeat winner came in 2013 and 2014 when LSU accomplished the feat, again winning the conference in 2017. This year’s No. 1 seed, Tennessee, has not won an SEC title since they shared the honor with Alabama in 1995.
The full tournament slate of 16 baseball games leading into Sunday’s conference championship game will air on SEC Network, with morning and afternoon sessions set for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each session features two games, with the first receiving a start time and the other coming shortly after the previous game goes final.
The conference championship will air on ESPN2, wrapping up the week of action from Hoover, Alabama.
