Brady Cook injury update: Latest on Missouri QB's status vs. Alabama revealed on Thursday injury report
Another week, another ranked matchup within the SEC. As No. 21 Missouri takes a trip to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 15 Alabama in a high stakes matchup regarding the conference standings and making the cut for the 12-team College Football Playoff.
The Crimson Tide find themselves in a must-win situation after suffering their second loss of the season last weekend against Tennessee. While the one-loss Tigers will look to avoid their sixth straight defeat to the Crimson Tide after coming from behind to beat Auburn on Saturday at home.
Mizzou may have been able to pull out a comeback win thanks to some injury heroics from quarterback Brady Cook last week. But the team’s star quarterback along with several others are dealing with various injuries heading into this game.
Meanwhile, Alabama is fairly healthy after their showdown in Neyland, as they definitely need all hands on deck moving forward this season. Check out the status of both teams’ banged-up players on Friday’s official injury report below.

Sabb is Alabama’s most notable scratch heading into this Saturday. Suffering from a lower-extremity injury that head coach Kalen DeBoer revealed could lead to him missing extended time. A Michigan transfer safety that’s Alabama’s fourth-leading tackler with four pass breakups and two interceptions this season.
College football insider Pete Thamel reported Wednesday that Missouri’s leading rusher Nate Noel would also miss Saturday’s game with a foot injury. A big loss after averaging 5.9 yards per carry through seven games with 503 yards and two touchdowns. As the Tigers will likely lean heavily on Marcus Carroll in the run game on Saturday.
