Braylen Russell, Kewan Lacy injury update: Arkansas, Missouri updated RBs status
Arkansas and Missouri will meet in the Battle Line Rivalry to close out the regular season on Saturday. We now have a better idea of the health of both teams entering the contest, as the SEC released the initial injury report on Monday.
The status of Razorbacks defensive back Anthony Switzer is one to watch after he missed this past week’s contest against Louisiana Tech. Switzer has not played since Nov. 2 against Ole Miss and has a total of 18 tackles and one forced fumble this season.
As for the Tigers, they got good news on the injury front last week with the return of quarterback Brady Cook. However, there are still a number of other names to look out for heading into this rivalry between two border states.

More on the matchup between Arkansas and Missouri
This will be the 16th time that the Razorbacks and Tigers have played each other, with the first meeting coming more than 100 years ago in 1906. Missouri holds an 11-4 all-time advantage in the series against Arkansas, including 3-1 under coach Eli Drinkwitz.
They won last year’s game by a score of 48-14 in Fayetteville. The two teams have met every year since the 2014 season with the Tigers being 8-2 against the Razorbacks since joining the SEC.

They are once again favored to do so this year behind the passing attack of Cook and star receiver Luther Burden. The pair have connected 60 times for 665 yards and six touchdowns this season and will face an Arkansas defense that ranks 118th in the country in passing yards allowed per game.
In spite of this, Razorback coach Sam Pittman will have his team motivated against what he considers to be one of their biggest rivals.
“I think Missouri is right up there at the top of rivals for us,” Pittman said. “I think if you ask our team — obviously, we have several trophy games. I would think Missouri one, Texas certainly would be one. LSU would be one. But I think Missouri ranks up there at the top.”
Kickoff between Arkansas and Missouri is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Columbia.
