4-star RB Braylen Russell announces top 5 five schools
Benton (Ark.) four-star running back Braylen Russell has narrowed his list of top schools down to five. The list includes Arkansas, Baylor, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
Russell is the No. 265 overall prospect and No. 24 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Arkansas.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder holds several Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Arkansas as the heavy favorite to land a commitment from Russell at 61.3%.
Arkansas is where Russell was originally committed as he made that decision in Nov. 2021. He announced that he had decommitted from the Razorbacks last October.
“My recruiting process has been a ride,” Russell told Hayes Fawcett in February when he narrowed his list down to 10. “I have received a whole lot of love from everyone.”
