Top-25 recruit Braylon Mullins down to 3 schools

Braylon Mullins, an elite shooting guard in the 2025 class, has narrowed his list of schools down to three, he told On3. Moving forward, the 6-foot-4 senior out of Greenfield-Central High (IN) will consider Indiana, North Carolina, and UConn. Mullins says he plans to announce his college commitment in the month of October.

He has taken official visits to each of his finalists.

Programs like Alabama, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Purdue, Duke, and Kansas were previously considered.

Mullins is the No. 22 overall recruit and a four-star prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 7 shooting guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

What he’s looking for in a school

“The team bonding will be big for me,” Mullins said in a past interview with On3. “I want to see myself fit into a system with good people, good coaches, and a good community. I’d like to have fun when I’m there. You know, you’re going to be living there year-round, so you want to have fun. Also, I want to work my ass off to see myself playing as a freshman, so I want to opportunity to work hard and be able to do that.”

Mullins noted as a standout at the Adidas 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships

On3’s Jamie Shaw considered Mullins as a standout at the Adidas Championship earlier this summer:

“Mullins shined at times this week when the lights were bright. In the championship game, he finished with 22 points, going 4-10 from the three-point line. An interesting aspect that Mullins showed this week was his ability to get to the free-throw line. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard carries more pop at the rim than you think and is capable of attacking the rim hard if you run him off the line. He is still tightening things up in his footwork and his shot mechanics, but his ability to make shots off movement and attack the rim in straight lines makes his game valuable in today’s game.”
