Brock Vandagriff injury update: Kentucky QB status revealed on Wednesday injury report

Michigan vs. MSU fight
Big Ten will not punish Wolverines or Spartans following the end-of-game fight on Saturday.
The Wildcats will hope both Hairston and Nichols are able to give it a go as they will need their secondary to be as strong as possible against this passing attack. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia carved up the Alabama defense to go 16-of-20 passing for 252 yards and a pair of touchdowns and should be determine to carry that over into Saturday.
“I think he’s extremely good at ball-handling,” Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said of Pavia. “You know, he makes very good decisions. He’s good in rhythm and on time and he’s very accurate. He’s much more accurate. I mean, he’s completing, like I said – I think it’s 80%, you know, right in that range. It’s not just short passes, you know.
“He’s very good with the ball in his hands. He’s good at feeling pressure. So, when he escaped pressure, he does a remarkable job of finding people down the field and hitting open receivers. That’s, you know, obviously a gift, you know. He’s a very good player, he’s very well-coached but, you know, he’s special in that regard.”
Kentucky will also await news on running back Chip Trayanum, who has yet to play this season after transferring from Ohio State. Trayanum was reportedly cleared for practice during the Ole Miss week but suffered a setback and did not play that game.
Kickoff between Vanderbilt and Kentucky is set for 7:45 p.m. ET on Saturday in Lexington.
