American Fork (Utah) Lone Peak four-star interior offensive lineman Bott Mulitalo has committed to BYU, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

He chose the Cougars following his decommitment from Oregon on March 10.

Mulitalo is the No. 175 overall prospect and No. 11 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 player in Utah.

The 6-foot-3.5, 260-pounder gives head coach Kalani Sitake and BYU another big in-state recruiting victory. He’s made multiple visits to Provo and now adds to a 2026 class that ranks inside the top 50 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Mulitalo was a part of one of the top high school football programs in the Beehive State in 2024. Lone Peak won 11 games and finished as the No. 50 team in the nation and No. 2 team in Utah, per the On3 Composite Rankings.

With Mulitalo now in the class, BYU has seven commits in the mix this cycle. He’s the second highest-ranked pledge, behind Saint George (Utah) Pine View four-star tight end Brock Harris, who committed earlier this month.

Harris is the No. 91 overall prospect and No. 5 TE in the nation. He chose the in-state Cougars over Michigan.

“I had that comfort feeling at BYU and about BYU. I knew in my heart where I wanted to go,” Harris told On3’s Chad Simmons. “There wasn’t a specific visit or a certain moment, but over time, it built up with BYU. Every time I was there, I had that feeling about them.”

Harris is one of two tight ends in the class, alongside Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek three-star Ty Goettsche, the No. 24 TE in the cycle. Goettsche committed last month.

Gilbert (Ariz.) Higley three-star cornerback Justice Brathwaite rounds out the class alongside a trio of other in-state commits: Lehi three-star EDGE Penisimani Takitaki, Lehi Skyridge three-star quarterback Kaneal Sweetwyne and South Jordan Mountain Ridge wide receiver Legend Glasker.
