Cam Coleman, Izavion Miller injury updates: Hugh Freeze updates status of Auburn stars
Hugh Freeze shared the latest on Cam Coleman and Izavion Miller coming out of the Cal loss.
During his press conference on Monday. Freeze noted that both the wide receiver, who’s dealing with a shoulder injury, and the offensive tackle, who’s dealing with a hip issue, are both questionable for this weekend against New Mexico. However, after testing for both, neither are dealing with anything that is too major for either of their seasons.
“Yeah, both are – both will be questionable, for sure,” Freeze said.
“We’ve had the MRIs on both of them and it’s nothing that’s season-ending – thank god,” added Freeze.

In Freeze’s opinion to start the week, Coleman is more likely to appear on Saturday against the Lobos than Miller is.
“You know, I think Cam probably has a better shot of playing than (Miller),” said Freeze.
Miller’s issue sounds more significant to an extent based on what Freeze saw from him in trying to get back on the field this weekend. He wasn’t able to protect as well as they’d need him to with what he showed in his mobility.
“(Miller) tried to come back in. That’s one of the hits that Payton took right when he was throwing,” said Freeze. “He just couldn’t move. He’s got a hip issue.”

Coleman is one of the exciting young prospects down on The Plains. Through two games of his freshman year, he has caught four passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. That was before dealing with his shoulder in the second half against the Golden Bears.
As for Miller, their starting right tackle, left before halftime and returned following the break. Still, their reserve saw more snaps than him in the end as he tried to manage the injury.
Injury reports will be out for the Tigers over this week and will provide new updates on both players. For now, though, it looks as though both could miss the third game for the Auburn offense with Miller likelier to be out than Coleman
“Probably be difficult for Miller to play and I’m not sure on Cam. Just depends on how quickly that he gets some, a range of motion in that shoulder.”
