Cam Scott to reschedule Florida State visit; sets 4th official
Due to Hurricane Ian, 2024 No. 13 Cam Scott is forced to reschedule his official visit to Florida State, originally set for this weekend. On3 originally reported Scott’s first three official visits, Florida State (10/1), South Carolina (10/22), and Auburn (11/11). The Florida State visit will be rescheduled, but a date has not been determined yet.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has also set his fourth junior year official visit with Texas. The four-star is set to head to Austin on November 25.
Scott carries over 20 D-I offers. He was 5A All-State for the second time last season after averaging 21.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard was the leading scorer for one of the best 16u teams – Team United – on the Nike EYBL Circuit, averaging 11.8 points and shooting 50.7 percent from the field in 15.4 minutes per game.
Scott also led the NBPA Top 100 Camp in three-point shooting, knocking down 50 percent of his shots and winning a camp championship.

Scott’s scouting report
Cam Scott is a lengthy wing prospect with a lot of pop. The natural tools are very impressive all the way around. Scott has a mature game, plays within the flow of the offense, and rarely forces things. The jump shot release can be cleaned up, but the pull-up is smooth. Since the summer, Scott has developed his footwork and handle in the half-court, creating space to elevate into his jumper. Scott can take over a game and carry his team. I would like to see him develop the comfort to take a more aggressive alpha role on his teams. He is very efficient in his game, and his ability to score with a less is more approach is mature. Strength will come, and he is tracking as one of the top players in the 2024 class.
