The Carolina Panthers made headlines with the trade of Christian McCaffrey. A star running back who had spent his entire career with the Panthers, it was a signal that the Panthers were going to blow up the team’s roster and look to rebuild for the future.

That means that other players could be getting traded away from Carolina in the near future. Wide receiver DJ Moore is among them.

According to Jeremy Fowler, Carolina is listening to calls from multiple teams about DJ Moore. Teams looking for a playmaker see Moore as a good option because of his talent and the situation in Carolina.

However, a trade is likely going to be difficult to execute. Carolina sees DJ Moore as the team’s top remaining playmaker. He’s who the Panthers want to build an offense around. So, it would take a big package to get him. That doesn’t mean a trade would be impossible. It just means that the team getting him would have to give up a lot in return.

Carolina is looking to rebuild from the ground up. Right now, DJ Moore is a young and talented player to build around. However, for the right price, anything is possible.

DJ Moore has had more than 1,100 yards receiving in every year of his NFL career, except his rookie season. That type of production is a big deal for NFL teams. With Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey already being traded, it looks like Carolina is going to keep moving on from key players for the sake of a rebuild.
