Panthers injury report

The Panthers have three players listed on the injury report that participated in full practice on Wednesday.

Safeties Justin Burris and Sean Chandler both are expected to be ready on Sunday. Burris is recovering from a neck injury, while Chandler is coming back from a hamstring injury. Joining them is receiver Shi Smith who participated in full practice and is listed with a shoulder injury.

In more concerning news, two of the three players still limited in practice are both starting guards John Miller and Pat Elflein. Both players are listed as questionable via ESPN as of Wednesday. While the health of starting linemen is already concerning enough, Elflein is currently the only backup center listed on the Panthers depth chart behind Matt Paradis.

Starting defensive tackle DaQuan Jones was also limited in practice as he recovers from a groin injury. Jones is also currently questionable per ESPN for Sunday’s game against the Saints.
