Four-star 2026 TE Carson Sneed commits to Tennessee

Nashville (Tenn.) Donelson Christian Academy On300 tight end Carson Sneed announced his commitment to Tennessee on Monday.
The four-star prospect becomes commit No. 2 for head coach Josh Heupel and the Vols in the 2026 cycle, joining the nation’s No. 1 ranked quarterback Faizon Brandon who gave his pledge over the weekend.
Sneed chose Tennessee over his other finalists in Auburn, Louisville, Ohio State and Ole Miss.
“It’s a great feeling,” Sneed said. “It’s something I’ve been chasing since I was a kid.
“And the future is bright. We’re trending up right now and that’s not stopping anytime soon.”
Sneed’s brother Dayton is a wide receiver in Knoxville. He’s been to campus numerous times including a return the last weekend in July.
“That’s home, it always has been,” Sneed said. “They recruited my family as hard as they recruited me.”
