CB Jalon Copeland commits to Arkansas: 'Arkansas just feels like home for me'

Valdosta (Ga.) cornerback Jalon Copeland has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. He has over three dozen offers, but the SEC school in Fayetteville gave him a feeling like no other.
”Arkansas just feels like home for me,” Copeland told On3. “They are the school that’s been the most consistent with me, my family and my coaches.
“They want me to come in and be the day one defensive back for them. They have been showing me love since I was a freshman. Just being on campus and around the coaches makes me feel like I’m at home.
“The coaches have believed in me since day one and they’ve been recruiting me like and telling me that I’m their No. 1 guy.”

Sam Pittman, Marcus Woodson and other staffers have been involved, but defensive backs coach Nick Perry has been in the lead.
“Coach Perry is my guy. He is the man with the plan. Ever since he got there, he and coach Woodson been on me non-stop. We all talk every day about football, life and family all in one. I believe they can get me to the next level and put me in the position to win.”
Copeland has an official visit to Arkansas scheduled for May 30. Louisville and UCF are recruiting him hard too and the 5-foot-10 1/2, 175-pound three-star could take official visits to both.
Copeland is the No. 49 cornerback in the country and the No. 60 prospect in Georgia.
