The college football season is officially less than three months away, with Week 0 set to kick off on Aug. 26. As the anticipation rises, CBS has released some of its schedule for the SEC games that it will broadcast, including the opening matchup.

Things kick off with a Week 3 game between South Carolina and two-time defending national champion Georgia at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 16 in Athens. The Gamecocks are coming off of an impressive end to the 2022 regular season that included top 10 wins against Tennessee and Clemson. They return quarterback Spencer Rattler, but face a tough task to pull off another upset on the road against the reigning SEC champs.

Other than that, there are only two matchups set in stone at the moment for the SEC on CBS. The Bulldogs will again be on the network at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 28 when they face Florida in the annual rivalry matchup in Jacksonville. Another rivalry game — Missouri at Arkansas — will be featured on the network at 4 p.m. ET on Nov. 24, which is Black Friday.

Other than that, the rest of the matchups are left open and will be determined at a later date. CBS will also feature SEC doubleheaders in both Week 7 and Week 10, including a night game at 7:45 p.m. ET on Nov. 4. Options for the Week 7 games include Arkansas at Alabama and Texas A&M at Tennessee, while Week 10 could see LSU at Alabama and Texas A&M at Ole Miss.

Things will conclude with the SEC Championship Game at 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 2. You can view the full schedule of SEC football games on CBS for the 2023 season below. All times are Eastern.
