CBS releases updated bracketology entering final week of regular season
With just a week remaining in the regular season, college basketball programs are running out of time to improve their NCAA Tournament resumes. With that, comes some bracketology projections before heading into a week of conference tournaments.
CBS Sports updated their bracketology projections on Monday before the final stretch of the year. The Michigan Wolverines, who are fresh off a loss to Illinois on Sunday, have fallen out of the field of 68 and find themselves on the wrong side of the bubble.

Baylor sole one seed to win over the weekend
Saturday produced one of the most chaotic weekends in college basketball, with seven out of the top 10 teams in the country falling. Even on Sunday, the Ohio State Buckeyes, who were ranked No. 22, fell to the Maryland Terrapins on the road.
Of the four one-seeds in CBS Sports’ projections, Baylor is the only one to win this weekend. Gonzaga, Arizona, and Auburn all lost, while the Bears got a vital win at home against Kansas. Head coach Scott Drew has his team positioned well to defend their national championship but will close the season out with a road game against Texas and at home against Iowa State. Win those two and Baylor could have their spot as a one-seed locked down, no matter conference tournament results.
