Rivalry week has come to an end, as has college football’s regular season. The games across the Week 13 slate certainly lived up to the hype, as nine AP-ranked teams lost over the weekend. Following all of the action across Week 13, CBS Sports has predicted how the AP Top 25 Poll will look later on Sunday, and they predict great movement.

Whether it’s the AP Poll or the College Football Playoff rankings, Week 13’s results will have serious impacts. Though no game was more important for the postseason picture than The Game between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan. The Buckeyes led early, but the Wolverines came back with a resurgence and came away with a controlling 45-23 victory. Ohio State will now certainly fall out of the top four, and the only question now is how far.

There were three other AP-ranked matchups throughout the weekend, as well. No. 5 USC hosted No. 13 Notre Dame in another important game for the CFP, and the Trojans played very well in the 38-27 victory. No. 10 Oregon and No. 22 Oregon State battled in an important Pac-12 game, and it was the Beavers that mounted a great comeback to win 38-34. No. 19 Tulane also played in an important AAC game against No. 21 Cincinnati, and the Green Wave punched their ticket to the AAC Championship with a 27-24 win.

In addition to the four AP-ranked games, four other ranked teams lost over the weekend. Texas A&M ended a poor season on a high note, knocking off No. 6 LSU, 38-23. South Carolina picked up its second straight top six victory with its 31-30 rivalry win over No. 7 Clemson.

No. 18 North Carolina played host to ACC rival NC State on Friday, and despite being down to their fourth string quarterback, the Wolfpack pulled off a 30-27 win over the Tar Heels. CBS Sports sees NC State as a potential option to enter the rankings after the win. Additionally, No. 20 Ole Miss fell 24-22 in the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, marking three losses over the final four games of the regular season for the Rebels.

The action lived up to the hype over the holiday weekend, and the hype might now be on the rankings as we enter conference championship week.
