Saturday was a historic day in college basketball. For the first time ever, each of the top six teams in the AP Top 25 lost on the same day. The results from Saturday’s slate have resulted in some significant changes within the latest CBS Sports Top 25 and 1 rankings.

Top ranked Gonzaga fell to No. 23 Saint Mary’s 67-57 late on Saturday night. No. 2 Arizona also fell in a 16-point loss at Colorado, while No. 17 Tennessee took down No. 3 Auburn, 67-62. An unranked Michigan State team beat No. 4 Purdue 68-65. No. 10 Baylor won a huge Big 12 showdown, beating No. 5 Kansas 80-70. Finally, No. 18 Arkansas defeated No. 6 Kentucky in a 75-73 thriller.

Additionally, TCU defeated No. 9 Texas Tech 69-66, adding another top ten upset to Saturday’s slate.

With just a week remaining in the regular season, and with some teams already being done with their regular season schedules, the next week will be a big one for the postseason picture. The latest CBS Top 25 and 1 shows just how chaotic and unpredictable college basketball was over the past few days, specifically on Saturday.
