CBS Sports’ latest update to their Top 25 & 1 Rankings didn’t provide much movement today. Some losses earlier in the week shook things up a tad but, from yesterday to today, only one team moved and they moved just a single spot.

That’s because, of the nine teams featured in the 26 spots that played last night, they all held serve. The one team who did see movement was New Mexico who, after a 94-63 win over Prairie View A&M on Tuesday night, moved to 12-0 on the year and took the final spot in today’s update.

  1. Purdue Boilermakers
  2. UConn Huskies
  3. Houston Cougars
  4. Arizona Wildcats
  5. Kansas Jayhawks
  6. Texas Longhorns
  7. Gonzaga Bulldogs
  8. Alabama Crimson Tide
  9. Arkansas Razorbacks
  10. Virginia Cavaliers
  11. Baylor Bears
  12. Tennessee Volunteers
  13. UCLA Bruins
  14. Miami Hurricanes
  15. Indiana Hoosiers
  16. Illinois Fighting Illini
  17. Mississippi State Bulldogs
  18. Kentucky Wildcats
  19. Wisconsin Badgers

  21. Xavier Musketeers
  22. West Virginia Mountaineers
  23. North Carolina Tar Heels
  24. Ohio State Buckeyes

  26. New Mexico Lobos

Purdue, Houston, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, UCLA, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Ohio State all won their games on Wednesday night. That comes after several of these other teams like UConn, Arizona, Miami, Alabama, Gonzaga, Baylor, and Xavier won on Tuesday night.

Virginia, Duke, and Mississippi State moved yesterday following their losses on Tuesday but, as a whole, we didn’t see any other significant movement in CBS’ ranking besides the Lobos getting shown some love as one of the three remaining undefeated teams in the nation.

WATCH: Tom Izzo gets technical foul in ridiculous ugly Christmas sweater

Tom Izzo and Oakland head coach Greg Kampe agreed to wear ugly Christmas sweaters during Michigan State‘s game against the Golden Grizzlies.

As if the pair of ugly sweaters weren’t hilarious enough, Izzo received a technical foul for arguing with the refs during Oakland’s run.
