For a good portion of the season, there were rumors that the Dallas Cowboys were looking to get some help for star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. One possible addition was Odell Beckham Jr, a free agent who was recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered during the last Super Bowl.
During an appearance on SportsCenter, CeeDee Lamb shared his thoughts on the possible addition of Odell Backham Jr.
“We know what [Beckham] brings to the table,” Lamb said. “Understanding that he’s a free agent, we need all the help we can, as far as making big plays and doing what we got to do offensively.”
Ultimately, Dallas didn’t sign OBJ during the season because, according to owner Jerry Jones, he wouldn’t be ready to go for the team’s playoff run. So, it wasn’t worth adding him. Still, the Cowboys are still interested in signing him during free agency ahead of the 2023 season.

Dallas does need to find some help for Lamb. Right now, he’s being asked to be an absolute workhorse for the offense. In Dallas’ playoff loss to San Francisco, Lamb had 10 receptions for 117 yards. The rest of the offense had 13 receptions for 89 yards.
OBJ shared a video of his recovery progress
Beckham Jr. has recently shared a video that shows how much his knee has progressed since he tore his ACL in early 2022.
You can see the video of OBJ, here:
The video shows OBJ running a short route, catching a pass, then sprinting in the open field. It seems like, with no pads and no defense, he is making good progress in the video.
Now, the question is going to be which team takes a chance on him. Is it Dallas or somebody else?
