Emotions are high in Tuscaloosa. Auburn is up double-digits against Alabama, having the upper hand through four minutes into the second half. Players have a little extra pep in their step and now, even the fans are getting involved with the battle.
Auburn’s Chad Baker-Mazara was going for a loose ball on the Alabama baseline, attempting to make a save. He crashed into the seats underneath and did not make a few fans too happy. One decided to push Baker-Mazara before some words were exchanged.
Unsurprisingly, Baker-Mazara was not too thrilled with the push. And then once he said something back to the crowd, one of the fans reacted. Luckily, other Auburn players quickly got over to de-escalate the situation and get everyone back to the bench.

Coming into the game, Baker-Mazara’s status was in question. An injury has been bothering him for a few games now. This really showed up on Tuesday against Vanderbilt when he was held to zero points. But in this type of game, Baker-Mazara is someone Auburn needs to be healthy.
“Auburn’s Chad Baker-Mazara (upper body) is expected to try and play today at Alabama, but likely will come off the bench, Bruce Pearl told @TheFieldOf68,” The Field of 68‘s Jeff Goodman posted on X prior to tip-off
