Chip Trayanum injury update: Kentucky RB's status vs. Florida updated on Thursday report
Kentucky vs. Florida, a rivalry that’s formerly of the SEC East, now has a second injury report ahead of kickoff between the two on Saturday.
Wednesday had the release of the original report with 25 players designated with the majority of them being questionable or already out.
The Wildcats had just nine of those players on the initial report yesterday with five out, three questionable, and one probable. Several of those had been previously listed over the course of their year, including the top defensive back now in Maxwell Hairston. However, one that’s worth noting still is the status of Chip Trayanum, a top-rated transfer back for them who may finally make his season debut this weekend in Gainesville.
The Gators then had most of the names on the report with a total of 16. 10 of those are already out with the remaining six being questionable, including their leading rusher in Montrell Johnson. Graham Mertz also is now on that listing following his season-ending injury last weekend.
Here’s how the second injury report looks with its release ahead of the night game in The Swamp:

Kentucky now sits at 3-3 overall with up-and-down results from the first half of their season. While having just a one-point loss to Georgia and a road win over Ole Miss, the Wildcats also have two more home losses by 25 to South Carolina and another in their most recent outing against Vanderbilt. Still, while being uneven to this point, UK has had success as of late in this series with three straight wins and four in their last six.
Florida also finds itself at 3-3 but has been much more competitive over the last month. After a get-right game before the bye, the Gators have come back to win by 11 over UCF and then took Tennessee to overtime in a loss on Rocky Top. Now, this game becomes a crucial one considering what comes from November on for them.
