Chris Bunch, a 6-foot-7 small forward out of Concord (Calif.) Wasatch Academy tells On3 he will now announce his college decision on October 21st at 5 pm ET.

Bunch is deciding between three finalists – Syracuse, Washington, and Rutgers. He visited Rutgers and Washington once officially, whereas Syracuse received two official visits.

Chris Bunch gave On3 his thoughts on each program.

Syracuse

“I love Coach (Jim) Boeheim,” Bunch said. “I love the program. The dome is amazing, like the fans, the experience. I would say the thing I like the most about Syracuse is the fans. They love basketball. I was there for a football game and they really love their sports.”

Washington

“I’ve never been to Seattle before so it was my first time going out there to see the school,” Bunch said. “It was good seeing Coach (Mike) Hopkins, Coach (Will) Conroy, and Q.P. (Quincy Pondexter). It was cool to experience PAC-12 energies. It was kind of different from everywhere else. But it was really nice being out there in Seattle so I could imagine myself in every situation possible.”

Rutgers

“I love Coach (Steve) Pikiell and Coach (TJ) Thompson,” Bunch said. “They love me. I get great energy from those guys. New Jersey is crazy. I’ve never been to RAC (Rutgers Athletic Center) live, but their facilities and everything they have out there is super nice. I know what they want me to come in and do.”
