NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On3 is proud to announce that Chris Low, one of the most respected reporters in college football, has joined the company as a Senior National College Football Reporter. Low, who spent the past 22 years as a senior writer at ESPN, will now bring his unmatched experience, credibility and connections to On3’s rapidly growing college sports platform.

“I’m both grateful and eager to be joining On3’s talented team,” said Low. “Just as college football, and the landscape surrounding it, has evolved, so has On3. What a wonderful opportunity and a new journey that starts today. See you at Death Valley (the Clemson version) on Saturday!”

Low has been at the forefront of some of the most defining stories in college football. He broke the news of Nick Saban’s retirement at Alabama in 2023 and detailed the Crimson Tide’s swift transition from Saban to Kalen DeBoer. Low also reported on landmark stories such as Kirby Smart’s $13 million contract and Lane Kiffin’s move from FAU to Ole Miss.

“At its core, On3 is built on trust and community — and no college sports insider embodies that more than Chris Low,” said Shannon Terry, founder and CEO of On3. “For more than three decades, Chris has been one of the most trusted and connected insiders in the college sports media landscape. We are honored that he has chosen to continue his distinguished career with On3.

“Chris joins Andy Staples, Pete Nakos, Brett McMurphy, and a growing roster of reporters and content creators, all working to deliver college sports fans the news, insights, and community they deserve.”

At On3, Low will contribute in-depth reporting, features, and weekly analysis on the biggest stories in college football, while also making regular appearances on On3 podcasts and YouTube shows. His reporting will spotlight the coaches, players, and programs shaping the sport, while also providing perspective on the issues impacting college football at every level.

“Early in my career, Chris taught me a lot of what I know about being a reporter and about how to treat people,” said Andy Staples, On3 college football reporter. “As I moved through the industry, I learned this was everyone’s experience with Chris. The coaches respect him because he always treats them fairly and honestly, and the other reporters respect him because he beats them fair and square.”
