Wednesday night’s Big Ten showdown between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Indiana Hoosiers has not gone the way of the home team as they struggle to put up points in the first half, trailing by 20 at the intermission 51-31. But that hasn’t stopped fans in attendance from enjoying the atmosphere, like renowned comedian Chris Tucker, who is sitting courtside for tonight’s action.

Tucker was caught giving fans a concert duet show during one of the breaks as he sang along to his longtime friend and Indiana native Michael Jackson’s smash hit P.Y.T. You can check out the comedy star singing and dancing along to his late friend’s iconic track in the video below.

In the first half, Indiana struggled on defense, allowing Nebraska’s star guard, Keisei Tominaga, to get loose and do some significant damage from beyond the arc. Tominaga finished the half, leading all scorers with eight points and shooting better than 50 percent from the field. Things were so rough in the first half that fans in attendance booed the Indiana players as they headed into the locker room.

Since then, the Hoosiers have battled back to start the second half and are within 10 points of the Cornhuskers. Should Indiana pull off the upset victory, it’ll be the second of the night following Penn State’s impressive last-second victory over No. 12 Illinois.

Penn State over comes 14-point hole to upset Illinois

The Penn State men’s basketball team captured their 12 win of the season with an improbable 14-point second-half come-from-behind victory over the No. 12 ranked team in the country, Illinois.

The Nittany Lion faithful in attendance, filled with jubilation after the victory, stormed the court to celebrate the huge win with the team.

The Fighting Illini appeared to have the game wrapped up and in the bag late, holding a seven-point 89-82 lead with 37 seconds left in the game. However, a defensive rebound and 3-point shot two seconds later by guard Jameel Brown quickly changed the temperature in the arena and swung the momentum in the Nittany Lion’s favor. From there, the Penn State defense locked in, holding up their end of the bargain with a couple of stops to go along with a Puff Johnson layup to cut the lead to two.

Down by two with three seconds left on the clock, Penn State kicked the ball to Zach Hicks, who was inexplicably fouled while shooting a three-point shot. Hicks would go on to make all three of his free throws, giving the nittany lions a one-point lead in the closing seconds. Illinois had an opportunity to make a game-winning basket but failed to get a shot off before the end of regulation, resulting in a 90-89 victory for Penn State.
