Newtown (Pa.) George School four-star point guard Christian Bliss is down to four schools, he tells On3.

Among the remaining contenders are Miami, Villanova, Virginia, and Xavier. He’s only taken one official visit so far, to Villanova. He plans to visit his remaining three finalists before making a decision.

Bliss is currently averaging 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game for the PSA Cardinals on the EYBL Circuit.  He ranks as the No. 72 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 11 point guard in the class.

Xavier: “Xavier was one of the first schools to believe in me. I really like coach Sean Miller and their style of play. Just the success he’s had with guards like me, is really impressive.”

Villanova: “I have a great relationship with all the coaches there. When I got on campus there, it felt like a family environment which is something I really like. There style of play also fits me very well. They have good development with their guards.”

Miami: “Their recent success speaks for itself. They also have a winning culture and I also like the vibe I get from the coaches. I believe they develop their players really well over there too.”

Virginia: “I have a great relationship with the coaches. Coach Tony Bennett played in the NBA himself as a point guard so he’s someone I could learn a lot from. Just the way they develop guards like myself is something I really like about them a lot.”
