New Colorado commit Christian Hudson says he'll get "coached by the best" in Boulder

Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland defensive lineman Christian Hudson announced that he had flipped his commitment from UCF to Deion Sanders and Colorado on Friday.
The coveted point-of-attack prospect was in Boulder two weekends ago for his official visit.
“It just felt different getting up there and getting a feel of that atmosphere,” Hudson said of his commitment to Colorado. “it just felt like home and somewhere I can learn myself and grow not only on the field but in the classroom and I can get coached by the best.”

Hudson points to the relationships he had at Colorado
The coaches Hudson felt close with included Devin Rispress, defensive line coach Damione Lewis and former four-star NFL All-Pro Warren Sapp.
The official visit was the game-changer in Hudson’s recruitment.
“My visit was amazing,” Hudson said. “It was great getting up there and checking it out for myself.
“Some of the big highlights were sitting down with Coach Prime, Coach Lewis, and Coach Rispress, Our conversations were amazing. They’re all great and really down-to-earth people who care about they’re student-athletes. A big takeaway was looking at their plan for me. It’s bigger than football more so towards getting a degree and being done in three years.”
Colorado is up to nine commits in the 2025 cycle ahead of a big recruiting weekend this weekend. For more on that click here.
