Four-star LB Christian Jones commits to Nebraska

Omaha (Neb.) Westside On3 Industry four-star linebacker Christian Jones has committed to Nebraska. He was back on campus for a second-straight weekend this past Saturday.
“After the Colorado game it felt right,” Jones said. “I want to be part of the culture Coach (Matt) Rhule is building.
“Watching the defense play they showed up in a big-time game.”
Jones chose the Huskers over Oklahoma and a slew of others. Defensive coordinator Tony White and future position coach Tony Dvoracek led the charge in recruiting the 6-foot-2 1/2, 215-pound Jones.

“Coach White, I want to be part of Coach White’s system and have coach Rob Dvoracek coach me.”
Jones also liked the proximity.
“It’s close to home and I can be with my family.”
The On3 Industry tabs Jones as the No. 1 prospect in the state, the No. 23 linebacker in the country and No. 212 prospect overall. Other offers throughout the process included Auburn, Missouri, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Miami and USC.
Jones becomes commit No. 19 for Rhule and the Huskers in the 2025 cycle. He is the jewel of the class.
