Cincinnati expected to hire Cortney Braswell as inside linebackers coach

Cincinnati is expected to hire Army’s Cortney Braswell as inside linebackers coach, sources tell On3.

Braswell, a former high school coach in Georgia and Tennessee, worked with Scott Satterfield and Cincinnati defensive coordinator Bryan Brown as a quality control coach at Louisville in 2019.

He had recently been promoted to defensive run game coordinator at Army.

Between Army and Louisville, Braswell was outside linebackers coach at Appalachian State in 2020.

Braswell will be the replacement for Derek Nicholson, who left Cincinnati Tuesday to take the inside linebackers coach job at Miami.
