City of Palms Classic: Day 2 Top Performers
Fort Myers, FL — This is my fourth straight year at the City of Palms Classic. The event is hosted at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida Southwestern State College here in Fort Myers. It’s once again a loaded event, featuring players like Caleb Holt, Jalen Haralson (Notre Dame), Darius Acuff (Arkansas), the Boozer twins (Duke), Malachi Moreno (Kentucky), Ryan Hampton, Mikel Brown, and more.
Here are the top performers from the second day of the event.
On3 MVP: 5-star PG Darius Acuff (Arkansas)
Darius Acuff is a scoring machine. The Arkansas signee caught fire in the second half, knocking down shot after shot. When Acuff is connecting, he’s tough to stop. The 6-3 senior point guard of IMG (FL) finishing with 38 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Razorback fans should be ecstatic about him coming to Fayettville next season.
4-star PG Dylan Mingo
Dylan Mingo showed why he is regarded as a top-10 recruit in the 2026 class. He got off to a blazing hot start in first half, finishing with 18 points by halftime. The 6-foot-4 point guard out of Long Island Lutheran (NY) has a good handle, is a strong defender, and has a high IQ. He is still young and developing of course but has a nice trajectory. The junior finished with 30 points (5 threes), seven rebounds, and 10 assists. Really impressive showing.
4-star SF Jamier Jones (Providence)
Jamier Jones played really well today and brought the energy from the jump. His athleticism is on a different level and has a college-ready body. His excellent getting to the basket and finishing with authority and strength. The Providence signee finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, and five steals.
4-star PF Davion Adkins
Davion Adkins is a very interesting prospect. The 6-8 power forward out of Faith Family (TX) does most of his damage around the basket and found success doing just that tonight. The four-star junior led his team in scoring with 26 points and added seven rebounds. He has upcoming unofficial visits to Kansas and Rutgers.
Boozer twins + Jaxon Richardson and Caleb Gaskins
Cameron and Cayden Boozer of Columbus (FL) just do what they do and that is produce and win at a high level. The twin brothers both played well tonight. Cayden showed his ability to both playmake and score. Cameron stretched the floor and battled down low, doing a good job of defending Kentucky signee Malachi Moreno. Cayden finished with 16 points and eight assists. Cameron with 23 points and nine rebounds.
The unsung hero of the game was Jaxon Richardson. The junior plays his role so well. He defends at an elite level, makes the right play, and is a crazy athlete and lob threat. I’m very intrigued to see how he continues to develop. He finished with 16 points, four rebounds, and two steals.

The game came easy to Caleb Gaskins. He got what he wanted when he wanted. He’s a versatile forward that can operate within the paint and also capable of knocking down the three-point shot with his feet set. A really nice performance from the big guy. He finished with an efficient 18 points.
4-star SF Tounde Yessoufou & Malcolm Price
Tounde Yessoufou of St. Joseph (CA) is a freight train when headed to the basket. The Baylor signee has a chiseled frame and is a really good athlete. Today his three points shot wasn’t falling but he found success slashing to the basket. He finished with 24 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
Malcolm Price is an undersized guard that can really light it up. He carried this St. Joseph team for much of the game. Really underrated player that plays very hard. Holds just a lone offer from Minnesota but I would expect that to change. He had an efficient 20 points today, including four threes.
4-star SF Cameron Holmes
Cameron Holmes kept Millennium (AZ) in this game against Montverde Academy (FL) and kept it close the entire game. His shotmaking was on display tonight, especially in the first half. The 6-foot-6 small forward was able to create his own shot off the bounce and get to the free throw line. He finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Also, I have to give a shoutout to Kingston Tosi. The Utah State signee played a vital role in this game finishing with 18 points.
