As usual, Alabama and LSU are set for a massive SEC showdown coming off a bye week. This could be viewed as a College Football Playoff elimination game, as both teams currently have two losses on the resume. Winner potentially springboards their season while the other will be watching the 12-team format from home.

We have seen this turn into a classic matchup on the college football calendar but there will be a different feel this go-round. Nick Saban will not be on the sideline, at least as a coach. Saban coached and won national championships at both of these programs.

He now will be in Baton Rouge as an analyst as Brian Kelly and Kalen DeBoer face off against one another for the first time.

There are unfortunately some injuries both teams are dealing with heading into the matchup. A Wednesday injury report provided the latest, showing us who is in danger of missing Saturday’s game.

As a reminder, at least three more reports will be provided before kickoff from Tiger Stadium. Thursday and Friday will both be released around 8 p.m. ET while Saturday’s occurs around 90 minutes before kick. You can check out the full injury report below.

Jalen Milroe discusses LSU crowd noise at Tiger Stadium

Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge is one of the best environments across college football, especially at night. Which will be the site for one of the most high-stakes games of the college football regular season this weekend when LSU hosts Alabama in a game with major College Football Playoff implications on the line.

Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe has been in Tiger Stadium as a backup quarterback and helped lead Alabama to a home victory over LSU last season. But this Saturday will represent his first game as a starting signal caller on LSU’s home field.

“So I had an experience two years ago, we played at LSU on the road and it’s definitely a place that external factors are at a high when it comes to their crowd noise, when it comes to the fans impacting the game as much as possible,” Milroe said on Tuesday. “Also just the energy that’s poured into the to the stadium.”
