While the calendar still hasn’t hit March, teams are getting their summer official visit dates locked in early with top prospects. That includes Dabo Swinney and the staff at Clemson.

The Tigers are making some headway on the 2026 recruiting trail, and on Saturday night, another blue-chipper announced that he’s returning to Death Valley this summer.

Clemson is in the mix for Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian four-star EDGE Dre Quinn. On May 30, he’ll be a part of what’s set to be a stacked weekend of official visitors for the ACC program.

Nearly 40 programs have offered Quinn. He’s yet to trim his list of top schools, though the Tigers are the first school to get an OV locked in with the blue-chipper. He’s also set to visit Clemson next month on March 8.

Quinn visited Georgia and Tennessee in January and is also set to see Alabama next month. Last month, Quinn updated his recruitment with On3’s Chad Simmons. Other schools are also sticking out.

“Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Georgia Tech are schools that are standing out,” Quinn said. “Florida State would be one too. LSU is one I really want to visit. Auburn has my attention now too.

“I am still looking around, but some schools definitely stand out. That is why I am staking as many visits as I can. I want to visit everywhere that I think could be good for me before I make my decision. My plan is to take visits now, then in the spring too before taking some official visits and committing.”

In regards to Clemson, Quinn loves the development that the Tigers have provided to top players throughout the years:

“Clemson is big on developing their players. That sticks out to me. Dabo Swinney came down to my school to see me and meant something to me too. They preach that I am more than just a football player to them. They care for their players and I had a great time when I was there for the Louisville game.”

Quinn is the No. 226 overall prospect and No. 21 EDGE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 player in Georgia.

Early look at Clemson’s 2026 class

To date, Clemson’s 2026 recruiting class features five commits and ranks No. 24 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The Tigers already have two quarterback pledges in the fold.

Queen Creek (Ariz.) four-star quarterback Tait Reynolds headlines the class as the No. 273 recruit and No. 18 QB in the nation. He committed in July and was joined by Birmingham Spain Park three-star QB Brock Bradley less than two months later. Bradley is currently the No. 64 QB in the cycle.

“From the first moment I stepped on campus, I told my dad, ‘Man, this place is awesome,’” Reynolds told On3 upon making his commitment public. “I worked with coach (Garrett) Riley and I hung out with coach Swinney. He had me in his office. I was the first 2026 quarterback that they offered, so that means a lot. I know they believe in me and it’s a place that I feel like I can be successful at.”

Reynolds is one of two blue-chippers currently in the class alongside Knoxville (Tenn.) Webb School four-star cornerback Shavar Young, a top-300 prospect and top-20 CB in the cycle. Young pledged on Aug. 2 last summer.

Bradley, Lawrence (Kan.) Free State three-star offensive tackle Braden Wilmes and Huntington (W.V.) Prep three-star tight end Tayveon Wilson currently round out the class.
