Clemson offensive line transfer Zechariah Owens commits to Colorado

Clemson offensive tackle Zechariah Owens has committed to Colorado out of the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on his Twitter account on Sunday evening.
Owens spent just one year with the Tigers, appearing in two games and playing in 13 offensive snaps as he redshirted. So he’ll have plenty of eligibility left as he heads to join the Buffaloes.
Listed at 6 foot 6, 375 pounds, Owens has outstanding size, providing the building blocks for Deion Sanders and his coaching staff to work with.
Owens as a well-thought-of prospect, too.
Prior to enrolling at Clemson, Zechariah Owens was a four-star prospect and the No. 275 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 20 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 25 overall player from the state of Georgia, hailing from McDonough (GA) Eagles Landing Christian Academy.
