With conferences showdowns raging on, the schedule continues to provide awesome matchups and intriguing results. Many of the top teams in the country were still able to stamp their mark on the week, while others fell in the process, leading to some serious changes throughout the Top 25.
With that in mind, the sport’s brightest coaching minds put their brains together to come up with some rankings after Week 14. Check out the Top 25 below, and see if your team made the cut as the season progresses.
1. Alabama (+2)
Alabama won their lone game of the week, while a couple of the other top teams in the nation fell. The Crimson Tide defeated Arkansas on the road by four, an impressive conference dub.
They’ll face Texas this Tuesday, followed by a massive showdown with Auburn on Saturday afternoon. It doesn’t get much bigger than the clash between Alabama and the Tigers.
2. Auburn (-1)

Auburn started off their week in awesome fashion, defeating Oklahoma by 28. However, it all came apart at the seems, as the Tigers fell to Florida by nine over the weekend.
After suffering their second loss of the season, they’ll be hoping to bounce back this week. It all starts with a clash against Vanderbilt on Tuesday, and then a massive showdown with Alabama this coming weekend.
3. Florida (+3)
After falling to Tennessee, Florida went off this past week. They beat Vanderbilt by 11, but the bigger moment was their win over top-ranked Auburn on the road by nine. One of the more impressive victories of the season by anyone.
The Gators are 20-3 on the season, and they’ll be back on the horse this week. Mississippi State and South Carolina are on the docket.
4. Tennessee
Tennessee is on a bit of a run. They moved to 20-4 this past week, with victories over Missouri and Oklahoma, including an 18-point win on Saturday over the Sooners.
Kentucky is on the schedule for Tuesday. It’ll be tough to come away with a win in Lexington, but the Volunteers have proven to be more than up to the challenge this season.
5. Duke (-3)
![Duke](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2025/02/10113927/Duke-1024x512.jpg)
Duke started their week with a 29-point win over Syracuse. It was No. 20 on the season, but they couldn’t keep the good times rolling, as they fell to Clemson over the weekend.
The Tigers delivered the Blue Devils their third loss of the season. They’re back home on Wednesday, when they’ll welcome California to Durham in what they’re hoping is a nice bounce-back evening.
6. Houston (-1)
Houston came up with win No. 19 over the weekend. They took care of business, defeating Colorado behind J’Wan Roberts’ 20 points.
The Cougars only have one game this week. They’ll face the Arizona Wildcats, and it should be a doozy of a game inside the McKale Memorial Center.
7. Purdue
Purdue’s upswing continued with another couple of victories this past week. Iowa and USC were their victims, as the Boilermakers advanced to 19-5.
