1. Georgia

Georgia looked a little shaky going to Lexington. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped the Wildcats with a 13-12 win to remain unbeaten.

Of course, while it was a little concerning for UGA fans, it could also be a blip on the radar. Carson Beck threw for 160 yards and Trevor Etienne ran for 79 yards. Branson Robinson scored the deciding touchdown.

2. Texas (+1)

Texas put on a show against UTSA. But that’s not the biggest story right? Arch Manning is the story.

In his first extended action, Manning accounted for five touchdowns on Saturday. Quinn Ewers’ health is a concern, but Manning was this hyped for a reason.

3. Ohio State (-1)

Ohio State had a bye week this weekend so the Buckeyes didn’t do anything to themselves. They’ve been dominant so far though.

So as far as what’s next for Ohio State, the Buckeyes have Marshall before getting into Big TEn play. Through the first quarter of the season, this is still the conference’s best chance at a national title.

4. Alabama

Alabama dominated Wisconsin on the road and it was never really competitive. Unfortunately for the Badgers, they lost quarterback Tyler Van Dyke to injury.

From there, Alabama put its foot on the gas and never looked back. Jalen Milroe accounted for five touchdowns in an easy peasy type of day.

5. Ole Miss

Ole Miss boat raced Wake Forest 40-6 and looked dominant again. The team has yet to be truly tested, but the Rebels certainly look like a team that can make a run in the Playoff.

As far as winning the SEC, anything is possible. Georgia looked shaky and Ole Miss can seemingly hang with Texas and Alabama when it comes to scoring.

6. Oregon

Oregon came back with a vengeance this week, going to Oregon State and blasting their rivals. It’s no longer a Pac-12 matchup but it still means just as much.

The Ducks won 49-14 after leading just 22-14 at halftime. In the second half, they took over. Dillon Gabriel tossed two touchdowns and 291 yards while Oregon ran for four touchdowns, collectively, on the ground.

7. Tennessee (+2)

Tennessee put up 71 points in a shutout victory over Kent State. Man, this game was over after the first quarter when the Volunteers were up 37-0.

Nico Iamaleava threw for 173 yards and a touchdown in a quick day. Dylan Sampson was the star though with 101 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

T-8. Penn State (-1)

Penn State had a week off after beating Bowling Green in a close affair. A week off might be good for the Nittany Lions considering they’re getting a reeling Kent State team at home this coming weekend.

Big Ten play will be the true test of Penn State this season. But with a week out of the spotlight, expect this team to really hit the ground running as we get closer to October.

T-8. Missouri

Missouri got a ranked win over Boston College at home and the Eagles must be for real because this was close.

Brady Cook connected with Luther Burden six times for 117 yards and a touchdown, which was a good sign. Missouri’s defense forced Boston College QB Thomas Castellanos into two interceptions and went home happy.

10. Utah

The Utes took care of Utah State over the weekend, on the road no less. With no Cam Rising, Isaac Wilson had to step up.

The backup QB threw for 239 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. It got the job done in a 38-21 win as the coaches kept Utah in the top 10.
