Coastal Carolina expected to hire Travis Trickett as offensive coordinator
Coastal Carolina is expected to hire Travis Trickett as offensive coordinator, sources tell On3.
Trickett was USF’s offensive coordinator this season after three seasons as an assistant coach at West Virginia, where he worked with the Mountaineers’ inside receivers and tight ends.
Trickett, the son of longtime coach Rick Trickett and the brother of Marshall offensive coordinator Clint Trickett, was also previously an OC at Georgia State, FAU and Samford.
Trickett will work under Tim Beck, who was hired as Coastal Carolina’s new head coach Dec. 4 after three seasons as the offensive coordinator at NC State.
