The college basketball transfer portal officially opened for business last month, and now enters Week 3. The national championship game is set for Monday night, and every Division I team has entered transfer portal mode, trying to rebuild for 2025-26.

Building rosters through the transfer portal has never been more important. Of the 80 projected starters in this year’s Sweet 16, 35 are transfers. The transfer portal is also driven by NIL dollars, with the top budgets in college basketball ballooning to eight figures.

As the college basketball transfer portal continues to churn, On3 will have it covered from every angle. Keep track of the real-time entries with the transfer portal wire and live rankings of the top players available in college basketball’s free agency. On3’s live updates will also deliver news on the biggest names and brands making moves in the transfer portal.
