After a wild weekend of college football action that featured numerous upsets, ESPN College Gameday host Kirk Herbstreit has revealed his top performing teams of Week 10. From the No. 1 ranked team in the country falling, to ranked teams losing in blowout fashion, and underdogs winning in overtime, there were plenty of worthy teams to choose from Saturday’s slate of games.

In order, here are Herbstreit’s top performing teams of Week 10:

1. LSU

No. 10 LSU pulled off the upset over No. 6 at home this weekend versus Alabama in a back-and-forth, overtime thriller where the Tigers won 32-31. It was the Tiger’s second straight win over a top 10-ranked SEC opponent at home as they extend their record to 7-2 in their first season under head coach Brian Kelly. The victory was highlighted by Kelly’s decision to go for two after responding to the Crimson Tide’s touchdown with one of their own, as quarterback Jayden Daniels completed a pass to Mason Taylor to secure a walk off win for the Tigers.

2. Georgia

No. 3 Georgia‘s win over No. 1 Tennessee may have been an upset according to the rankings, but the Bulldogs looked like the better team from beginning to end as they defeated the Volunteers 27-13 on Saturday. Georgia’s performance was highlighted by an outstanding performance by their defense facing the nation’s top scoring offense in Tennessee, keeping them out of the end zone until the four minute mark of the fourth quarter.

3. Notre Dame

Notre Dame pulled off arugably the biggest upset of the weekend as their unranked squad defeated No. 4 Clemson 35-14. Similar to Georgia, the Fighting Irish kept the Tigers out of the end zone for a majority of the game, with Clemson scoring their lone two touchdowns on their last two offensive possessions of the game. The Irish had a dominant day in all phases of the game, scoring a touchdown on offense, defense, and special teams in Saturday’s win.

4. Duke

Duke reached bowl eligibility for the first time since 2018 in their win over Boston College this weekend. The Blue Devils took control of the game early, securing a 24-7 lead in the second quarter. BC fought back and kept the game interesting, but Duke outlasted the Eagles winning 38-31 on the road.

5. Liberty

Liberty entered their game against Arkansas as 13.5-point underdogs and pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the college football season defeating the Razorbacks 21-19. Arkansas out-rushed and out-threw the Flames, but weren’t able to hold off Liberty as head coach Hugh Freeze earned his sixth straight victory of the season.

6. Florida State

The Florida State Seminoles had one of the most dominant performances of the weekend as they defeated Miami 45-3 on Saturday. Everything was clicking for the Seminoles, as they achieved their highest scoring output against an FBS opponent of the season and held the Hurricanes to under 200 yards of total offense.

7. Kansas

Last but not least, Herbstreit’s final team was unranked Kansas who defeated No. 18 Oklahoma State this weekend 37-17, bouncing back from a three-game losing skid after winning their first five games of the season. The Jayhawk’s upset win featured an electric performance from running back Devin Neal, who ended the day with 334 total yards of offense and a touchdown.
