Florida State DC Adam Fuller
Florida State held Miami to 188 yards and had four takeaways during a 45-3 rout of the Hurricanes.
Big Ten
Michigan State DC Scottie Hazelton
Michigan State beat then-No. 16 Illinois despite only getting 294 yards from its offense. During the 23-15 upset, the Spartans had five fourth-down stops.

Kansas OC Andy Kotelnicki
Kansas finished with 554 yards in a 37-16 win over then-No. 18 Oklahoma State.
Pac-12
Washington State OC Eric Morris
Washington State piled up 514 yards and its highest scoring output of the season in a 52-14 romp past Stanford.
SEC
Georgia co-DCs Glenn Schumann and Will Muschamp
Georgia held Tennessee’s highly ranked offense, which produced at least 34 points in each of the Vols’ first eight games, to six points through 55 minutes during a 27-13 win over then-No. 1 Tennessee. The Bulldogs had six sacks and two takeaways, and limited the Vols to 2-of-14 on third downs.

Led by Lashlee, who calls plays, and Woods, SMU scored 11 touchdowns during a 77-63 win over Houston; it was the most points scored in a game in regulation in FBS history. Eight TDs came during the first half, which ended with the Mustangs leading 56-35.

Notre Dame had four sacks and two takeaways in a 35-14 victory over then-No. 4 Clemson. The Tigers finished with 281 yards and were 4-of-12 on third and fourth downs.

Liberty limited Arkansas, which scored 93 points in its previous two games (against BYU and Auburn), to its second-lowest scoring output of the year in a 21-19 upset of the Razorbacks. Aldridge, who is the defensive play-caller, saw his group hold Arkansas’ offense to just three points through the first 52 minutes.
