Each week, On3’s Matt Zenitz selects coordinators of the week from each Power 5 conference as well as two from the Group of 5 ranks.

Here are the On3 coordinators of the week from Week 7.

ACC

North Carolina OC Phil Longo
The buzz:
Longo’s unit posted 536 yards and was 9-of-14 on third and fourth downs in a 38-35 win over Duke. The 38 points represented a season-high point total surrendered by the Blue Devils. UNC QB Drake Maye had 450 total yards (380 passing, 70 rushing) and accounted for three touchdowns, including a game-winning TD pass with 16 seconds remaining.

Big Ten

Michigan DC Jesse Minter
The buzz:
Minter’s defense held Penn State to 10 offensive points during a 41-17 rout of the then-No. 10 Nittany Lions. Aside from a 62-yard run by QB Sean Clifford, Penn State posted just 206 yards of total offense.

Big 12

Oklahoma OC Jeff Lebby
The buzz: Behind Lebby’s offense, Oklahoma ended a three-game losing streak with a 52-42 win over then-No. 19 Kansas. With QB Dillon Gabriel back from concussion protocol, the Sooners racked up 701 yards, 36 first downs and seven touchdowns, including five in the first half. It was Oklahoma’s highest yardage output against an FBS opponent since 2018.

Pac-12

Colorado DC Gerald Chatman
The buzz:
After yielding an average of 43 points in its first five games, Colorado held California to just 13 points Saturday in its first game with Chatman as its DC. The 20-13 overtime victory was the Buffaloes’ first win of the year after an 0-5 start. Colorado’s defense limited the Golden Bears to 297 yards, posted 10 tackles for loss and had two takeaways.

Pac-12

Utah OC Andy Ludwig
The buzz:
Behind Ludwig’s offense, Utah handed then-No. 7 USC its first loss. The Utes finished with 562 yards of total offense during the 43-42 win, which featured a Utah touchdown and a two-point conversion with 48 seconds left in the fourth quarter that proved to be the difference in the game. It capped a 15-play, 75-yard drive.
