No one, and especially not the Las Vegas oddsmakers, could have predicted all of the wild outcomes this past Saturday. With another packed slate for Week 8 on deck, the oddsmakers have released their newest odds and spreads.

No. 3 Alabama was the highest-ranked team to lose this weekend, falling to No. 6 Tennessee. Bama was an eight-point favorite in Vegas heading into Week 7 but lost by three in a game that was down to the wire.

The schedule for Week 8 features top-25 battles between No. 5 Clemson and No. 14 Syracuse, No. 6 Alabama and No. 24 Mississippi State, No. 8 TCU and No. 17 Kansas State, as well as No. 9 UCLA versus No. 10 Oregon and No. 11 Oklahoma State versus No. 20 Texas.
