With the conclusion of this past week, the regular season is a third or so through in college football. That also comes with the latest update to the On3 Impact Top-10 following Week 4.
Most of the ranking held with half the list staying in the same slot as last week’s edition. However, there is a swap at in the top-three along with a pair of new additions towards the back of the rating.

Here’s how the list finished through four weeks of the season per the experts at On3:
1. WR/CB Travis Hunter – Colorado Buffaloes
Travis Hunter did it again. The star two-way athlete was a difference-maker on both sides of the ball for Colorado to escape their Big 12 opener against Baylor with a wild 38-31 win in overtime.
On offense, Hunter caught seven passes for 130 receiving yards as he’s now posted 100 or more in yardage in every game this season. On defense, he posted three tackles and forced the game-winning fumble in the extra frame. That has only further emphasized his case as a contender for the Heisman Trophy with him maintaining the top spot in On3’s Impact Top-10
2. QB Cam Ward – Miami Hurricanes
Cam Ward moved up to second in the rating after his best statistical game yet for Miami. That helped the Hurricanes to push past South Florida in the second half by a final score of 50-15.
Ward went 24-34 (70.6%) in passing for a season-high of 404 yards to go with three touchdowns and an interception. He also ran for a season-best of 43 yards. His play as one of the nation’s leaders in passing along this win ended what has been about a flawless start for both him and his new team in the non-conference ahead of their league opener on Friday.
3. RB Ashton Jeanty – Boise State Broncos
Ashton Jeanty just kept on running coming off of the bye week for Boise State in a 56-14 victory over Portland State. It just wasn’t as productive as he had been with him dropping from second to third in the ranking.
Jeanty still rushed for 127 yards and 11.5 per carry. It was his season-low thus far, though, after running for 229.5 over the first two while also not scoring a touchdown for the first time this season after posting nine through the pair to start.
4. OT Kelvin Banks Jr. – Texas Longhorns
Banks stayed solid at No. 4 after grading highly as part of the 51-3 win for No. 1 Texas over UL Monroe on Saturday.
In protecting a new young quarterback, the Longhorns only allowed one sack on the offensive line. The offense also had its most balanced outing of the season against the Warhawks with 497 total yards with 258 through the air and 239 on the ground.
5. S Malaki Starks – Georgia Bulldogs
No. 2 Georgia is coming off a bye week following their conference opener in Lexington. Still, Malaki Starks remained at No. 5 in the ranking despite having the week off.
Starks has 11 tackles and an interception in the Bulldogs’ secondary as one of their defense’s top tacklers and the only one to record a pick through three games. The ‘Dawgs will need him to be ready to go this weekend now in a top-five matchup at No. 4 Alabama.
6. QB Jaxson Dart – Ole Miss Rebels
Jaxson Dart has also just been running up the numbers during the dominant undefeated start at Ole Miss. That included this past weekend in the Rebels’ final non-conference win at 52-13 over Georgia Southern.

Dart went 22-31 (71%) for 382 more yards, four more touchdowns, and an interception against the Eagles. He also ran for a season-high of 36 yards. All that only further pushed him ahead in passing statistics on the year across the country and kept him at No. 6 in On3’s Impact Top-10.
7. CB Will Johnson – Michigan Wolverines
While Will Johnson didn’t have his most productive day overall, he still made one of the plays of the game for Michigan in their conference-opening win over USC.
In a close contest against the Trojans, Johnson took one off Miller Moss from 42 yards for his second pick-six of the season, which gives him three over the last two years, to extend the Wolverines’ lead back to double digits. The maize & blue then handled the rest in the run game on offense for the 27-24 victory.
8. WR Tre Harris – Ole Miss Rebels
Tre Harris, one of the nation’s leading receivers as Dart’s clear top target, joins his quarterback on the ranking after a career-best outing against Georgia Southern.
Harris caught 11 passes for 225 yards with two touchdowns in the 39-point win on Saturday. The receptions tied a high while the yardage set a new high to get him onto this ranking with two members of the Rebel offense on it this week.
9. OL Wyatt Milum – West Virginia Mountaineers
A week after joining this list, Wyatt Milum finds himself another spot higher with what he’s doing in Morgantown.
The Mountaineers’ offensive line did give up a few less sacks with a trio in their Big 12 opener on Saturday. Still, they also set it up for the unit to have their second-best yardage of the season in the 32-28 win over Kansas.
10. DL Mason Graham – Michigan Wolverines
Mason Graham made it into the final spot to round out the Impact Top-10 for On3. He did so with a season-best outing for the Wolverines’ defense against USC in the Top-20 win in the Big Ten.
Graham got his first sack of the season while also posting a season-high of six tackles, which also tied a team-best this weekend, against the Trojans. That gives Michigan’s unit a pair of members on the ranking to close it out for Week 4.
