College Football Player Rankings: Tre Harris, Tetairoa McMillan headline On3 Impact Top 10 WRs after Week 4
In the latest college football player rankings, we have a fresh set of top 10 impact wide receivers across the sport.
Now that we’re through Week 4 of the season, which is basically a month in, there are clearly 10 wide receivers above the rest. How they continue to impact their teams remains to be seen.
Let’s dive into the top 10 impact wide receivers in college football courtesy of our panel of On3 experts.
1. Tre Harris, Ole Miss
Harris has only gotten better in his second year with the Rebels. A fifth year player, Harris is On3’s top impact wide receiver.
So far, through just four games, Harris has 38 catches for 628 yards, four touchdowns and 16.5 yards per catch. He had 54 catches for 985 yards in 12 games just last season.
2. Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
McMillan is still an immense talent, but he’s second in these wide receiver rankings. He’s still off to a great start statistically in three games.
So far, McMillan has 23 catches for 453 yards, four touchdowns and 19.7 yards per catch. He’ll be key for the Wildcats to bounce back after a rough loss to Kansas State going into the bye week this past weekend. Next up: Utah.
3. Luther Burden II, Missouri
Widely considered the best wide receiver in college football, Burden is only No. 3 in the On3 wide receiver impact rankings. Nothing against him, the previous two are just on heaters right now.
But, Burden is starting to warm up as the weeks progress. Through four games, he has 19 catches for 257 yards, four touchdowns and 13.5 yards per catch. After just seven catches and a score in his first two games, Burden has 12 catches and three touchdowns over the last two contests.

4. Travis Hunter, Colorado
Hunter has an argument for No. 1 player, but as a wide receiver, he’s No. 4 currently per the On3 wide receiver rankings. If you isolate what he does on offense, and not combined with defense, Hunter is still extremely impressive.
Even after the win over Baylor Saturday, Hunter said himself he could draw a double team away from the intended targets for the Hail Mary. It worked. In four games, Hunter has 37 catches for 472 yards, five touchdowns and 12.8 yards per catch.
5. Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
Egbuka is the first of two Ohio State wide receivers on this list following Week 4. He’s still a top five talent according to On3.
Through three games this year, he has 14 catches for 266 yards, one touchdown and 19 yards per catch. He’s not the only go-to target in the offense, which could affect his numbers. But he’s just as good.
6. Tai Felton, Maryland
This looks like a breakout campaign for the Terrapins wide receiver. Just last season, Felton had 48 catches for 723 yards, six touchdowns and 15.1 yards per catch.

Now? Man, buckle up for this stat line in just four games. Felton has 41 catches for 604 yards, five touchdowns and 14.7 yards per catch. He’s on pace to shatter his numbers from 2023.
7. Xavier Restrepo, Miami
All eyes are on Cam Ward in Coral Gables, but he the quarterback has to throw to a wide receiver or two right? A fifth-year senior, Restrepo is off to a great start.
Through four games, he has 20 catches for 362 yards, five touchdowns and 18.1 yards per catch. He might not catch his reception and yardage from last year, but he’s scoring at an absurd rate.
8. Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
The biggest impact wide receiver isn’t Smith, yet. He’s only a freshman and Tim Tebow even compared the Buckeyes star to Julio Jones.
Through three games so far, Smith has 14 catches for 281 yards, four touchdowns and 20.1 yards per catch. He’s only gonna get better.
9. Tez Johnson, Oregon
Johnson only got better after he transferred in from Troy last season. Through three games this season, he has 22 catches for 190 yards, two touchdowns and 8.6 yards per catch.
It’s not the best start statistically, compared to the other impact wide receivers on this list at least. But as Oregon starts hitting its stride, Johnson will be key for QB Dillon Gabriel.
10. Isaiah Bond, Texas
Bond broke out last year with Alabama and made an insane catch in the Iron Bowl. He’s been a high impact wide receiver for Texas so far this season.
This year, Bond has 15 catches for 290 yards, three touchdowns and 19.3 yards per catch. Whether it’s Quinn Ewers or Arch Manning throwing him the football, Bond is a big time play maker.
How does this list change going into next week? Well, who’s going to step up and make a season-defining play? It might be too early to ask that question, but it’s clear these 10 pass catchers are above the rest.
